Kitchen Renovation Ireland (“we”, “us”) operates the website kitchenrenovation.ie. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our free AI kitchen-preview tool. We are the data controller for the information you share with us.

You can contact us at any time at production@bizboost.ie.

• Contact details you provide on the form: name, email address, and phone number.
• Your kitchen design preferences (style, colour, worktop, flooring, budget) from the quiz.
• The photo of your kitchen that you upload, used solely to generate your AI preview.
• Technical data automatically collected: IP address, browser type, and the date/time you submitted the form. This helps us prevent abuse and improve the service.

We use your information for the following purposes only:

• To generate your AI kitchen preview using Google’s Gemini API.
• To contact you about your free renovation consultation, as you requested.
• To maintain a record of leads for our internal business operations.
• To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the tool.

The legal basis for processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you provide by ticking the consent box on the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us — see “Your rights” below.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We do use the following processors to operate the service:

• Google (Gemini API): your kitchen photo and design preferences are sent to Google’s API to generate the preview. Google processes this data on our behalf and does not use it to train its models when called via the paid Gemini API.
• Resend: handles the transactional email that notifies us about your enquiry.
• Vercel: hosts the website and processes server logs.

Each of these providers is bound by data-processing agreements consistent with the GDPR.

• Your contact details and quiz answers are retained for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you become a customer (in which case statutory record-keeping periods apply).
• Your uploaded kitchen photo is processed in memory to generate the preview and is not stored on our servers after the generation completes.
• Server logs containing your IP address are kept for up to 90 days for security purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction — ask us to pause processing of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Object — object to our processing of your data.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission if you believe we have mishandled your data: dataprotection.ie.

We use only strictly necessary cookies to operate the website. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on this site at present. If that changes we will update this policy and present a cookie banner.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls on our internal systems. However, no system is 100% secure — if you suspect a security issue, please email us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to you by email if you are an existing contact.
