Design your kitchen

Eight quick choices, the way a designer would walk you through them. Your design is drawn on your own photo, and the designer can change anything you like.

Your photoStep 1 of 8

Start with a photo of your kitchen

Stand in a corner and get as much of the room in as you can. Landscape works best. Your photo is only used to draw your design.

No photo to hand?

Try it on one of these kitchens first.

How it works

Any phone photo of the room works. No photo yet? Start on one of our example kitchens.

  2. Design it in the Studio

Pick the style, colour, worktop and layout, see it drawn on your room, then ask the designer for changes.

Every county has its own guide. Tap yours on the map.

On a phone, counties show their registration letters. The number on each county is how many local kitchen companies publish a price. In 13 counties, not one does, so a kitchen there is priced on request. Tap a county for its guide: local prices, what the homes there are like, and what changes the job.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How much does a new kitchen cost in Ireland?

Fitted kitchens start at €5,000 to €40,000 at the 15 Irish kitchen companies that publish a starting price, with a median of €13,000. Most of Mark Lohan Kitchens' 2025 customers spent €10,000 to €15,000, and The Home Upgrade Co. puts a typical family kitchen with a quartz worktop at €15,000 to €25,000 including VAT. Checked 1 November 2026.

How much does it cost to have a kitchen fitted?

€2,000 to €6,000 to fit a whole kitchen you have bought. Kitchen & Bedroom Perfect says most kitchen fitters charge €2,000 to €5,000, and WEPRO Renovations publishes €2,250 to €5,400 for installation only. Taking out the old kitchen adds €300 to €800.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

4 to 8 weeks from design to a finished kitchen, by Kitchens4U's figures, with 3 to 5 days of fitting on site (Aloco Kitchens). A full project with tiling, electrics and plumbing takes 2 to 3 weeks on site.

How much does a kitchen extension cost in Ireland?

About €1,500 to €2,500 per square metre to build a single-storey extension, before the kitchen. Aloco Kitchens puts a full open-plan kitchen extension project in Dublin at €50,000 to €90,000. Since 27 July 2026 a rear extension of up to 45 square metres needs no planning permission, within the conditions.

How does the free kitchen design Studio work?

Take or upload a photo of your kitchen, then choose a style, door colour, worktop, layout and finishing touches. Add your first name, mobile and county, and the Studio draws your design on your own photo in about 20 seconds. You can ask the AI designer for changes and flip between versions. It is free. If you tap Get this kitchen priced, we pass your design to one kitchen company in your area, which rings you to measure up and quote.

Is the Studio picture what my kitchen will look like?

It is a close illustration drawn by AI on your own photo, not a design drawing or a guarantee. The kitchen company that measures up checks what fits your room, where the plumbing and electrics are, and what it costs.
