Our price guide
Typical prices for Irish homes. Your written quote comes after the room is measured.
Three ways to get a kitchen designed
- The kitchen company: free, and the design is drawn to their range.
- A supplier's designer: about €180 plus VAT, deducted when you order.
- An independent designer: about €250 for a home consultation and €450 for a full design, and you take the drawings anywhere.
What a designer does
Measures the room, works out where the sink, hob and fridge go, plans the walkways and storage, and draws the doors, worktop and appliances so you can price it like for like.
What to bring
- The room measured wall to wall, with the window, door, radiator and boiler marked.
- Photos of each wall.
- What you cook, what you store, who uses the kitchen.
- A budget, even roughly.
